Do you need a perfect gift for the perfect newlyweds or for a perfect hostess?   Each piece is a-one-of-a kind work of art.  The ceramic sculptures are formed out of terra cotta clay and heated in a kiln to a temperature of 2100 degrees and then placed in a mixture of hay and leaves.            This firing  method adds an element of chance and is known as raku.
